David Swift: Anton Du Bois


David co-founded Bravo in 2014 and this was his fifth stage role with Bravo, having previously appeared in: 'Wheeler Fortune', 'The Importance of Being Earnest', 'Twelfth Night', and the world premiere of 'All That Glitters' (as Tsar Nicholas II).


He has been actively involved in the North West theatre scene for 20 years and has performed in over 60 shows. He is the longest serving regular box office volunteer at Wigan Little Theatre. Since 2008, he has completed many assignments as a supporting artist or 'walk on' in TV and film.


In 2015 he completed his first professional assignments at the Manchester Fringe and Comedy Festivals (world premieres of 'Snatched From Home' and 'The Séance') alongside a number of Theatre In Education opportunities ('An Inspector Calls'; 'Of Mice And Men').


Pre-pandemic, he participated in commissioned role play work in primary schools and a large number of roles in paid murder mystery events.


Other work includes: 'The Happiest Days of Your Life', 'Go Back For Murder' and ‘David Copperfield’ with the Carlton Players in Birkenhead; 'Spider's Web' and 'Lady Windermere's Fan' at Farnworth Little Theatre; 'Why Love?' with Times 13 on the Wirral and the lead role of Jerry in the brand new play 'All Together Now' with City Theatre Liverpool.
